About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a person who is passionate about providing great customer service to our students to join the Client Services Team at one of our major campuses.

Reporting to the Team Leader Client Support and Enrolment, you will be the smiling face that welcomes visitors to the campus and responsible for processing student enrolments from application to enrolment. This will include participating in student enrolment days; undertaking back-of-house enrolment processing, validating student eligibility, administering payment processing and appropriately managing documentation obtained from students. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring that students coming to TAFE Gippsland have an excellent experience from the moment they start their journey.

Skills and experience:

  • Exceptional Customer Service ethic and skills
  • Experience working in a team environment and ability to work collaboratively with other departments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to explain complex requirements eg enrolment eligibility criteria to a prospect/ student/peers.
  • Experience working in higher education or the TAFE sector is highly desirable
  • A tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma) would be highly regarded

A six month probationary period applies to this position. Successful applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and will be required to satisfy a National Police Record Check and a Victorian Working with Children Check.
