What You Will Be Doing

The Peninsula Health - Community Dental Program operates 21 chairs over 4 separate sites - Frankston, Rosebud, Hastings and Carrum Downs; providing General, Specialist and Emergency dental care to those residing and holidaying on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula.

We seek a suitably experienced Oral Health Therapist/Dental Therapist to complement our professional and caring multi-disciplinary team. This position is for a permanent part time based at all sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure professional registration, radiation use licence and indemnity insurance is current
  • Ensure a high standard of clinical treatment is delivered at all times
  • Ensure up to date with current best practice
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is delivered at all times
  • Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment with emphasis on continual quality improvement
and infection control standards
  • Perform all duties in a timely, efficient and professional manner
  • Ensure data collection and clinical treatment record is at the AHPRA and DHSV clinical records
  • Ensure relevant CPD hours are maintained as per registration requirements

Selection Criteria Essential: Registration with AHPRA
Essential: Dental Radiation User License
Essential: Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Essential: Demonstrated ability to exercise time management skills whilst maintaining a high level quality care
Essential: Bachelor of Oral Health Science or Equivalent
Desirable: Knowledge in Titanium Dental Software
Desirable: Demonstrated Clinical Experience in Australia
