Are you looking to kick-start your Actuarial career at one of the world’s top 20 general insurance and reinsurance companies?

QBE are inviting applications for their Actuarial graduate program for commencement in early 2022.

This is a unique opportunity to learn with the best in the business. The Actuarial team are trusted advisors to the business and use their well-rounded specialist skills to inform QBE’s strategy. You will be part of our major capability build with an opportunity to make your mark, rather than just following established processes. You will have opportunities to build your skillset and be exposed to new technologies and machine learning techniques.

Once you commence the program you will be able to benefit from rotating through different Actuarial teams, enabling you to broaden your experience and creating a solid foundation on which to launch your Actuarial career. From Day 1, as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will be solving complex business problems and delivering high quality insights for the business. You will have opportunities to collaborate with non-Actuarial teams across QBE ranging from catastrophe modelling to the financial planning & analysis function. These opportunities will allow you to build up a comprehensive picture of how a major global insurer really works.

This is the first step on your way to a career with a global company that helps people and business protect themselves from risk. QBE prides itself on its diverse, flexible and socially committed culture. We also offer strong study support to enable you to complete your Actuarial qualifications.
