JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking an Administration and Program Support Officer to join our North Queensland team based in Townsville. This position fixed term, full-time, providing cover for a period of leave until 31 December 2021.

Key responsibilities

  • Efficiently and respectfully manage reception, incoming phone calls and all correspondence, including emails.
  • Interact in a professional and courteous manner with all families, community members and visitors.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Regional Director, Program Managers and other team members.
  • Open, register and discharge clients in accordance with the Act for Kids guidelines.
  • Manage the secure handling and storage of client files and general files.
  • Interact with suppliers to ensure the office is properly resourced.
  • Fulfil basic finance functions e.g. banking, invoicing, petty cash, timesheets.
  • Facilitate maintenance of all leased and owned company vehicles and premises.

About you...

  • Cert III in Business Administration (desirable) or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • At least two years’ experience providing administrative support to a busy office, preferably in the human services industry.
  • Proven strong administration skills and an ability to multi-task.
  • A high level of proficiency using all Microsoft Office applications, and experience with accounting systems
  • A high level of proficiency using client information management systems and report generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to be part of a high-energy team in a challenging environment.

About the pay...

  • Position is classified Level 3.1- 3.4 under the SCHCADS award;
  • Salary range is $62,743 - $67,270 plus 9.5% superannuation (pro-rata for part-time);
  • In addition, as a registered Not for Profit/Charity, we offer excellent salary packaging options through RemServ which can significantly increase your take home pay.
