What you'll be doing

Provision of planned and corrective maintenance to biomedical equipment & engineering services in health care facilities serviced by Mid North Coast Local Health District in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and standards and in particular AS3551 - Management programs for medical equipment.

Provide professional advice on biomedical equipment and biomedical engineering services across Mid North Coast Local Health District.

  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or qualifications and/or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical environment.
  • Proven analytical skills in fault finding & problem solving in general electronics and the application of medical equipment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of medical equipment multi-skilling principles including an understanding of governing Australian Standards relevant to biomedical equipment.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to produce quality work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current Drivers licence and ability to travel as required.
