The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a mathematical analyst to join our Integrated Transport and Mobility Team in Melbourne. More about the role, team, projects
Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Working across a range of industries for a diverse set of clients
- Undertaking data collection and analysis for a range of applications
- Developing mathematical and computer models to solve transport and non-transport problems
- Undertaking forecasting and optimisation as required
- Communication skills to allow approach, methodology, outputs, findings, and risks to be conveyed to interdisciplinary teams and clients
- Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computing or Science degree (post-graduate qualifications is highly regarded)
- Experience or problem solving across a variety of industries
- Computer programming experience, e.g. Visual Basic, Python
- Competence using Microsoft Office packages, in particular Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Data collection, processing, and analysis skills
- Be Inquisitive, and apply this attribute in order to find creative and realistic solutions for clients
