At Better Rehab, we are people people. Our Operational and Leadership Teams are in place to support a number of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Speech Pathologists and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners who are committed to supporting people of all ages living with a disability or neurological disorder.

Since our establishment in 2016, we have expanded across four states: Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. Our organisation has seen rapid growth over the last year and, as such, we require a Regional Manager with a clinical background to support our State Manager and the wider clinical and operational team.

This position will be located across our offices in the North Brisbane region and will assist our Leadership Team as well as Team Leaders and other clinicians. We believe in a strong work-life balance and making your time in the office as enjoyable as possible. Our QLD team enjoy going out for a team lunch at the many restaurants near our offices.

Your New Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to step into leadership and be part of our Executive Leadership Team. You will be working directly with the State Manager to ensure your region is operating efficiently in all areas including staff recruitment, management of Team Leaders, upholding organisational processes and ensuring the management and implementation of new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the business.

At Better Rehab, no two days are the same, though a typical day may involve:

· Liaising with the State Manager to ensure clinical and operational staff are managed appropriately within your region

· Conducting supervision for Team Leaders and guiding them through their own operational leadership challenges

· Overseeing clinical handovers where necessary

· Managing underperformance when needed in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation

· Engaging in regular competitor analysis

· Assisting with the establishment of new sites and supporting implementation initiatives

· Ensuring the State Manager is kept abreast of all matters through both formal and informal communication means

· You have relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology (required)

· You have 4+ years’ clinical experience

· You have previous management experience within the healthcare sector

· Experience within the NDIS, education system or paediatrics is highly regarded

· You have your own car and valid driver’s licence

· You can provide evidence of

o Police Check

o Working with Children Check

o Relevant Board Registration (AHPRA, SPA or ESSA)
