The Systems Service Technician’s primary responsibility shall be required to perform various functions for the Company which may but not be limited to performing field servicing of fire protection systems on client’s premises. This may also include the review and examination of the systems in place to identify defects or improvements to the system and also be involved in the rectification of such systems and minor works.


For the purpose of this position, the Systems Service Sprinkler Technician shall be a fully qualified QBCC Sprinkler Fitter.

The Systems Service Sprinkler Technician will also possess:

  • A minimum of at least five (5) years direct experience in Fire Sprinkler Systems covering all elements required of the fire protection industry in a similar role.
  • Highly Motivated self- starter thinks outside the box and has the client’s needs and requirements regarding compliance as a priority.
  • Experience in Service / Defects & Monir Works Fitouts.
  • Current, relevant QBCC & Plumbing licences.
  • Industry General Induction White/Blue card.

The Systems Service Sprinkler Technician will possess personal skills, attributes and abilities, which are consistent with the needs of the Company including but not limited to:

  • A highly motivated self-starter who does not require constant supervision.
  • A high degree of communication skills at all levels.
  • An ability to make decisions which are consistent with Client’s needs, Company policy and objectives.
  • Able to deal and liaise with customers and fellow employees in a professional manner.
  • Able to follow instructions and follow procedures provided by the Systems Service Supervisors / Manager.
  • Act to ensure all works performed are completed with professionalism, in the most effective and efficient manner and ensure that at all times works performed, actions and communications are in full compliance with the Federal and Queensland Trade Practices Acts and Fair Trading regulations and within the confines of the skills and legal qualifications held.
  • The ability to be available for rostered ‘On Call’ duties.
