Description - The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, the primary purpose of this role will be to take lead finance and commercial functions of this growing business. Continual improvement in this area is critical as is the ability of the successful candidate to link commercial and operational parts of the organisation. The role will also include but not be limited to:



  • Manage all aspects of the finance function and associated analysis and reporting for the Australian Business
  • Produce all the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packs, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and accounting standards.
  • Manage strategic plans and budgets in conjunction with divisional management and analyse variance, trends, and anomalies
  • Leadership of approximately 12 - 15 employees in the business across the finance, administration, commercial teams.
  • Provide commercial support to the tendering department including pricing and contract negotiations.
  • Commercial oversight of the equipment, parts and services for the operations across Australia
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law, finance, and tax regulations.



Profile - The Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related field with demonstrated commercial and contracts exposure.
  • CPA or CA qualified.
  • Exposure to construction, mining or other industrial equipment/servicing sectors.
  • You will have a strong and effective leadership style and have the ability to own and lead projects across the business.
  • Experience in managing employees across various business units.
  • You will have a key tactical input into operations, and you will have the ability to communicate financial information and its impacts on business and operations in a manner all can clearly understand.
  • The ability to communicate at all levels of the team and create partnerships across all areas of the business.
