As such, WSP is growing our South Australian development and environmental planning capability to meet a growing client demand, and are looking to hire an experienced Planner in Adelaide to support the current team.

You will manage small to large environmental, urban and regional planning projects including land use planning, environmental assessments, due diligence assessments, development approvals and authorisations/permits as well as drafting submissions, proposals and providing advice to clients. You will also contribute to Victorian and Western Australian-based projects.

What We'll Love About You

You will have a passion for working with South Australian government agencies, councils and the private sector to deliver planning and environmental assessments and approvals that maintain and create liveable urban and regional communities.

In Addition, You Will Bring
  • A thorough understanding of planning and environmental legislation, policy, and reform directions in South Australia (additional Victorian and / or Western Australian knowledge would be an advantage)
  • Project management or project coordination experience, particularly with approvals pathway planning and the coordination of specialists on environmental impact assessment/planning approval projects
  • Ability to distil complex information, think strategically and translate that thinking into practical solutions
