  • Plan for, develop and deliver, engagement strategies and campaigns to support the implementation of initiatives, projects and strategies, including the Population Growth Strategy's Make it Tasmania platform and associated engagement tools and platforms.
  • Manage engagement and inquiries received through internal and external platforms in relation to delegated projects and strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain campaign and engagement documentation and supporting information, to support project design, planning, delivery, implementation and reporting.
  • Foster productive working relationships with stakeholders, including internal workgroups, other government agencies, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.
  • Develop integrated engagement plans that align with relevant Government priorities and initiatives, such as alignment with the Tasmanian Brand.
  • Maintain an awareness of activities and projects that could impact on, and can support the implementation of, the team's and Department's key deliverables.
  • Manage, and support the procurement of, consultations as required.
  • Prepare correspondence; project documentation; campaign plans and materials; engagement strategies; Ministerial and Cabinet Minutes and Briefs; meeting, event and briefing papers; and management reports, across the Department's scope of portfolio areas and responsibilities.
  • In conjunction with the broader team, actively engage and contribute to the development of projects and business practices that enhance the quality of the Division's outputs. This will be facilitated through participating in team discussions and contributing ideas for improving work practices, consistent with the Division's objectives and the Department's values.
Desirable Requirements

A relevant degree or other tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience
