JOB DESCRIPTION
An established government business is searching for an Accounts Payable Officer with demonstrated end to end Accounts Payable experience to start immediately in a temporary position until June 2021.
Reporting to Accounts Payable Manager the successful candidate will have extensive Accounts Payable experience.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Accurate processing of a high volume of invoices on a daily basis
- Reconcile payments and supplier accounts
- Effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders; responding to queries as required
- Assisting the team with ad-hoc accounting tasks
Requirements of the Role:
- Demonstrated Accounts Payable experience within a large business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using a large ERP system
- Strong attention to detail
