JOB DESCRIPTION
Boutique hotel seeking a professional and reliable individual as a Part Time (15+ hours per week) Front Office Receptionist to join our team.
We are seeking someone able to provide a welcoming and professional first impression for the hotel with a focus on providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and an attention to detail.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Ensuring the smooth running of the Front Office/Reception;
- Being the central point of contact to all guests and handling requests accordingly;
- Managing reservations and operating the hotels booking system;
- Organising and executing duties within the front office;
- Completing administrative tasks such as payroll and reconciliations
- Take initiative to assist guests and colleagues

- Willingness to use initiative and solve problems
- Previous Front Office / Reception / Administration experience is preferable
Applicants must be highly motivated and reliable. The number of hours and days per week are negotiable for the right applicant, however, the applicant must have some flexibility in their hours to meet the needs of the business (including weekends). Knowledge of hotel booking systems, payroll or accounting software would be advantageous, but not essential.
