Searson Buck is delighted to be partnering with the General Practice Training Tasmania to recruit a capable and experienced administrator to join the team in Hobart.

General Practice Training Tasmania (GPTT) is a non for profit organisation whose objectives are to attract and recruit doctors to GP fellowship training programs and to deliver high quality vocational education and assessment activities that meet the learning needs of GP registrars.

The Program Support Officer will assist with the coordination, delivery and administration of education and training events as well as providing updates and a high level of administration support. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a solid background in administration, can create strong working relationships, able to problem solve and possesses to ability to make sound decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to GPTT education event planning, coordination and delivery.
Manage bookings and arrangements and arrangements for meetings and training events.
Ensure that visitors are professionally received and provide support.
Responsible for and provide administration updates in GPrime for ATSIHT learning modules.
Assist with tasks and processes in accreditation administration for educational events.
Ensure that all data in input and recorded accurately.
Attend when needed educational and training events.
Be an active part of the Support Services Team to create continuous improvements to achieve best service delivery.

Background and Experience Needed

Demonstrated a minimum of three years' experience within similar administration / support.
Be a strong team player and possess good communication skills.
Accurate administration ability and well organised.
Hold a valid Tasmanian driver's license
