Portfolio Management Office Coordinator
Mackay Regional Council has new opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Management Office Coordinator to join the Portfolio Management Office team, part of the Capital Works directorate.
The Role
The Portfolio Management Office Coordinator provides leadership to the Portfolio Management Office team and oversees the development of a three-year rolling capital works delivery plan. The role uses specialised knowledge to provide strategy, analysis, reporting, commentary and recommendations on how to improve program and project performance and reporting within MRC.
The role is responsible for influencing key stakeholders to enhance project management maturity and for providing program and project reports to enable the business to make timely and informed decisions.
Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Current QLD C Class motor vehicle driver’s licence.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce or Engineering and/or demonstrated considerable experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated significant experience leading the development of an annualised delivery plan/program.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing work program reporting
- Extensive experience establishing project controls for capital works projects
