Our client:

Our client is an established Civil and Mining company, they offer years of experience and provide a high-quality service to a range of clients.

The role:

Due to increase in project operations with our client, we require experienced Project Supervisors for a significant project located at both Olympic Dam and Carrapateena. These positions will be working 14:7 roster, flights from Adelaide, meals and accommodation will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effectively managing resources to ensure achievement of production schedules
  • Providing effective leadership and supervision
  • Periodically assessing employee performance by conducting scheduled appraisals in accordance with performance objectives and prepares corrective and development plans as necessary
  • Resolving problems and conflict arising within the crew
  • Providing timely and accurate information to meet management and Client requirements
  • Ensuring all contractual and KPI reporting is provided to management and the Client
  • Working closely with the Project Management Team to ensure project activities are completed safely, within budget, and in a timely manner

The successful applicant will have:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and maintenance related systems (MEX) etc
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
  • Effective planning ability, time management, and prioritisation
  • Confident communicator with the ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
