The Role:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Property/ Leasing Administrator to join our property team at Healius Medical and Dental.
Reporting to the National Leasing Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Leasing Administrator and together support the administrative function within the property team. This role will be based in St Leonards.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Ensuring our database is up to date and paying rent and outgoings, amending rent and outgoings
  • Invoicing sub-tenants and receipting rentals
  • Arrears management and tenant arrears control as escalation as needed
  • Working closely with our accounts team and reporting lease financial information, remittance of rent payments, tracking and reporting critical dates of all leases and subleases
  • Update and maintain landlord and sub-tenants information and updating lease documentation to ensure Progenesis is up to date
  • Update and maintain the lease database, adding new leases, properties, landlords, tenants, rent reviews and options
  • Process and maintain leases to ensure all information is accurately entered and maintained in the database and filed appropriately.
  • Assist with processing lease financial transactions, such as rents, sublease payments, renewals, taxes, and property expenses
  • Ensure all lease documentation is instructed and completed in a timely manner noting company’s standard policies
  • Support to oversee and ensure rent payments and all other financial transactions are being taken care of in a timely manner
  • Accurately interpret abstract commercial lease terms
  • Develop and maintain relationships internally and externally with Property Managers and Landlords
  • Act as key point of escalation for Landlord’s in relation to lease management issues
  • Provide input into streamlining leasing processes and reporting to introduce efficiencies where possible
  • Providing administrative support for the property team

Experience & Requirements:

  • Ideally worked in a similar role working as Lease Administrator or in Property Accounting role would be an advantage.
  • Experience within the Healthcare Sector preferred
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting lease agreements and financial statements
  • Background in Accounts/Finance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Progenesis preferred
