About the role
Working within one of our Domestic and Family Violence programs, a Domestic Violence Therapeutic Caseworker will deliver therapeutic child and family support case management to help women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
This is a Max-term Full-time position, ending December 2021. From time to time, you may be required to participate in an after-hours on-call telephone roster.

Duties
- Short term case work support to prevent client from homelessness or returning to a violent partner
- Safety planning, risk assessments and brief crisis intervention
- Support complex clients that have come through the WDVCAS and DVRE programs
Skills & experience
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate area (eg: social work)
- Understanding of working in the field of domestic/family violence, including knowledge of child protection legislation
- Counselling and Case Management experience
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
