The Opportunity

We are currently seeking applications for an Administration Officer with a passion for numbers and an appetite for improving systems and processes.

The role

This role is located in the Burdekin Region at Pioneer Mill which is located 82 km South of Townsville. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments to growers and other related organisations as well as addressing related enquiries. In addition to this you will also;

  • Calculate and process cane payments
  • Reconcile and correct data against source systems and regularly audit data integrity
  • Manage and ensure integrity of contact and farm master data in the system
  • Collate and distribute grower correspondence
  • Support end user testing for changes and improvements to the cane payment system

About you

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will provide support and advice to Growers on Cane pay processes, payment information and systems. With a strong commitment to safety, good time management and prioritisation skills, you would also have;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy & timelines
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite of applications, in particular MS Excel
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable or Payroll would be beneficial
