Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

About the Role:

Due to experiencing an increase in work, we are currently expressing interest for experienced Disability Support Workers to support a range of NDIS participants. Roles will include in-home care and community access activities depending on the participant. Roles will range from 4 to 30 hours per week with a rate of $28 - $30 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily assistance and personal care support to participants such as personal hygiene, bathing and grooming
• Assist with community access activities such as shopping and recreational activities
• Domestic duties such as cooking and cleaning
• Assist with personal development and achieving the goals set in out the client's plan
• Provide emotional support where needed
• Provide support to client's families when needed

Skills & Experiences:

• Completed a minimum of Certificate III in Health Services Assistant or relevant qualification
• Must have a driver's licence and reliable transport
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Clearance
• NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
• COVID 19 Infection Control certificate
• Full Australian working rights

• Current Flu Vaccination
