About the job
Due to the expansion of the business in Australia we are currently looking for a Technical Service Veterinarian. Reporting to the Marketing and Technical Manager you will be adding technical knowledge and value to the existing product range, increasing customer satisfaction and sales.
Furthermore you will:
- Provide first class technical support to external and internal customers
- Provide and request feedback from internal stakeholders regarding any technical questions and/or issues associated with products
- Deal with queries and offer technical veterinary advice to clients
- Keep up to date on technical developments in animal products and veterinary medicine by attending relevant conferences and seminars
- Develop and implement regular training and educational services
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and universities to assist in the development of scientific and clinical work
- Record and report pharmacovigilance complaints to ensure regulatory compliance
To be successful in this role, you will have a solid technical background in veterinary products. Furthermore, you will be a flexible, empathetic team worker with a strong work ethic.
- A degree in Veterinary medicine
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience working as a veterinarian in Australia
- Sound knowledge in the field of parasitology in companion animals
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Good organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Eligible to work in Australia
