Salary Level: Classification Level 7 (Salary range A$90,175 to A$98,575 gross per annum pro rata plus up to 9.5% employer superannuation contributions)
Appointment: Fractional (80%), Fixed-term until November 2021

Overview of Student Services and Engagement
Student Services & Engagement (SSE) is part of the portfolio of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Students) who is responsible for setting the vision and strategic direction for the student experience, student success and retention. SSE strives to provide a positive, transformational experience for all USC students and has a broad brief to deliver key initiatives and services under the USC Student Success and Retention Blueprint.
SSE Services include USC-wide face-to-face, email and telephony to provide support and advice to students about administrative and academic matters; domestic admissions; credit application processing; course and program enrolment; examination and graduation services. SSE is also responsible for student finance services, administration of scholarships and the student information system. SSE Engagement activities include student communications; first year and academic program advice; orientation and student success programs for learning engagement; support for learning; and student health, wellbeing and disability support. Reflecting USC’s values, SSE manages USC’s comprehensive program of widening participation activities with communities and schools in its broader region. SSE strives to provide a best in sector approach for all USC students, and in doing so to develop opportunities for staff engagement and career development.
