About This Opportunity

Support the staff within the School of Economics by delivering high quality receptionist duties, maintain daily administrative operations and provide general administration. In addition to providing general administrative support to academic and professional staff, your role will include but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Monitor CRM system and respond to queries from students and staff from other areas of the University
  • Monitor Unitask system and forward requests (i.e. extensions, exemptions, and remarking) to the relevant member of staff
  • Distribute mail and order and maintain general School stores of stationery and office consumable items
  • Assist with the organisation of and collate materials for School based mid semester and Saturday examinations
  • Assist with updating Electronic Course Profiles (ECPs) and Exam papers

Our Ideal Candidate

With a demonstrated ability to communicate and liaise effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and at all levels, the School of Economics is seeking an administrator with a customer/client centric focus. You should possess sound written communication skills and the ability to prioritise competing work demands, meet deadlines and demonstrate a high level of self-autonomy and time management skills. Post-secondary qualifications or equivalent relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years' prior experience in an administrative role is required for the role.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, fixed term position for up to 12 months at Professional Level 04.

The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $65,424.85 - $69,453.78, plus super of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be in the range $76,547 - $81,261.
