Job description
We are searching for a seasoned Quality Manager who can hit the ground running and confidently lead Be’s compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Other important details:
- Permanent FT position, 80 hr fortnight
- Base: Be Head Office, Sunshine Coast
- Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Other requirements: travel, training, guidance and support to our regional teams
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving the organisation’s quality and compliance strategy.
- Developing and implementing Be’s quality management systems to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, regulations and funding body requirements.
- Developing and implementing organisational quality improvement structures, policies and processes, including internal auditing and reporting.
- Providing strategic advice to Executives, State Managers regarding legislative, contractual and compliance standards.
- Leading the preparation and response to any Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission audits or reporting requirements.
- Developing relationships with key external stakeholders.
Key Selection Criteria
Your expertise will be supported with the following demonstrated evidence:
1. Significant and demonstrated experience in leading and managing care governance, quality management systems and approaches, including continuous improvement activities across multi-site organisations.
2. Demonstrated expert knowledge and/or clinical experience in service delivery and quality systems in aged care, community care or health sectors.
3. Demonstrated understanding and advanced knowledge of person-centred care, and an ability to ensure service delivery meets the Aged Care Quality Standards across the organisation.
4. Proven ability to build and refine clinical governance frameworks under the Aged Care Quality Standards.
5. Demonstrated leadership and relationship building skills, including problem solving and the ability to provide accurate advice to senior organisational teams.
6. Significant and demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and relationship building, particularly in building effective and sustainable clinical partnerships.
Desirable
- A tertiary qualification in a related health discipline.
- Registered Nurse (RN), completed minimum 3 year Bachelor degree in Nursing, ideally with experience in the home care sector.
