We have an exciting year ahead with a number of new products and initiatives due to be rolled out to further enhance the value of our products to the financial sector. Our company is growing and we are searching for an Account Manager to join our sales team to support this growth through account management, identifying new opportunities within our current customer base, and find new clients that will benefit from our reliable and accurate financial insights to serve their customers better and faster.

Key responsibilities
  • Acquiring a deep understanding of the organisation’s services, value proposition, technical capabilities, markets we participate in, and competitive environment and strategic direction.
  • Building strong business relationships with customers to ensure the highest levels of customer service and retention.
  • Be committed to providing an excellent customer experience by ensuring regular communication with clients and prospects and timely follow-up of enquiries.
  • Manage day to day account enquiries for allocated accounts
  • Identify new opportunities from current allocated accounts
  • Conduct general health checks on allocated client accounts
  • Ensure CRM and pipeline is kept up-to-date and add all required information in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in sales and marketing efforts, including activities such as tradeshows, seminars, market sector promotions, and campaigns as required.
Our ideal person will have
  • Proven sales and/or account management experience (minimum 3 years experience) in a B2B SaaS environment and in selling complex technology solutions
  • Experience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the value proposition
  • Manage a value-based sales cycle from the qualification of need, through to objection handling, negotiation, and closing sales
  • Experience in delivering presentations and product demonstrations in person and virtually
  • Ability to farm customer accounts and to upsell and cross-sell to allocated accounts
  • The ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs and targets
  • Experience in building and managing a pipeline of opportunity
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to use initiative
