JOB DESCRIPTION

Our clients has become an industry leader in Australia and new Zealand within the compressed Air market. They offer a wide range of products to a wider range of industries which go from Textiles, Medical, Food, Mining and Smelting.

As a Business Development manager you will proactively identify new business opportunities within the WA and SA regions whilst managing existing customer relationships to build on the current requirements. You will transition into the Sales Manager once up to speed in the business and progress your own career.

The successful candidate will be in charge of the following

  • Process new sales leads being very organised in sending quotes and the most important follow up
  • Negotiation of T&C's
  • Develop the yearly strategy for WA and SA
  • Give feedback in regards to results and opportunities to the management team on what opportunities are out in the market
  • Mentor and give training assistance to junior distributors

As the Sales Manager your responsibilities will change to the following to give you an idea please see below

  • Overseeing the overall operation of the business
  • Developing, implementing and driving yearly strategic plans in conjunction with BDM's in QLD and VIC to enhance company growth
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Maximise sales revenue opportunities alongside the sister companies
  • Develop, train and maintain a small national team while creating a positive team culture
  • Prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts
  • Achieve profit by driving revenue
The ideal candidate will have

  • Have a technical understanding of compressed air technologies
  • Understand the compressed air industry
