On the back of successfully mobilising the Fulton Hogan Utilities business across all Australian states, we have plans to grow the business further into the Telecommunications, Water, Power and Gas markets. We have an existing and formidable well-resourced national team.

What we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Work Management Centre - Manager, with a high level of commercial and technical acumen to join our business in South Australia.

Reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Director, this role will put you on the front end with a highly respected and successful tier 1 contractor, with clients that span generations.

You will lead a change-focussed team, assigning the right employees with the right skills to the right job at the right time to meet "on demand" requirements. You will build and develop systems, processes and team members to create a world class Workforce Management Centre. You will motivate the team members and assesses performance, provide vision and direction, and deliver business performance against contractual KPI's.

What you'll bring to the table

Ideally you will have exposure to WMC processes in the telecommunication (NBN, Telstra, Optus) and/or Utilities (Water, Power, Gas) sectors, dealing with "on demand" fast turnaround work, with a motivated mobile workforce.

You will have experience in large-scale Work Management Stand Up projects as well as business as usual operations.

You will have the ability to build strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders whilst working collaboratively across a diverse and complex environment. You will be resilient, adaptable and someone who is comfortable taking the initiative and leading. Key to your success will be your ability to bring people together, build relationships and evolve business processes to meet client requirements.

You will need;

  • 5 years plus experience ideally working for a tier 1 contractor or provider in an on demand services sector setting.
  • Preferably a relevant degree in management, engineering or a related discipline.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial activities around on demand programs of maintenance, minor works and construction.

You will also have experience working collaboratively with clients, and leading change.
