JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Clinical/Health Psychologist or Clinical/Health Psychologist, BIRCH is responsible for the provision and management of specialised high quality Clinical Psychology services delivered within BIRCH, the ambulatory arm of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service. This includes providing evidence-based assessment and psychological therapy and support to clients and their families across the service including providing relief services to patients at BIRU.
For appointment at the AHP3 level, you will possess a Masters Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Clinical or Health Psychology, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Psychological Board of Australia (PsyBA), hold general registration with the PsyBA and be endorsed in the Clinical and/or Health Psychological area of practice and hold board approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision. However, if you meet the criteria for the Clinical/Health Psychologist (AHP2) position, you are strongly encouraged to apply for consideration of appointment to that level.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and compliant Immunisation screening.
