Teacher Community Services (Ageing Support)

TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in Community Services specialising in Ageing Support to join our team of teacherson a permanent basis at Macquarie Fields.

The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
 

If you have…

  • A recognised Degree or higher in an area of Community Services (Ageing Support) and/or Bachelor of Nursing
  • A minimum of 5 years current industry experience as a Registered Nurse and/or in Residential Aged Care
  • Certificate IV TAE40116
  • A high level of written and oral communication skills in English and a proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments
  • A commitment and ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment and demonstrated organisational skills applicable to an educational setting
