As a Finance and Administration Officer you will be responsible for providing high level administration support to the Western Sydney Asset Management Unit (WSAMU). As a part of School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW), WSAMU delivers maintenance and minor capital works to schools across the Western Sydney region and you will be provided the opportunity to develop and utilise your skills to support the team.

About School Infrastructure NSW
School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
 
About the role
The primary purpose of the role is to provide a range of finance and administrative services to support the efficient and effective operation of the WSAMU. This requires flexibility in responding to identified priorities required for the operational success of the unit, strong communication and organisational skills coupled with the ability to work with a variety of systems in a dynamic workplace.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Current driver's licence.
  • Knowledge and understanding of infrastructure in the context of SINSW’s services, client base and stakeholders, or similar industry knowledge.
  • Knowledge of and a commitment to the Department’s Work Health and Safety (WHS) Policy.
