We are looking for an experienced SeniorProduct Designer to lead the design vision for iAuditor’s Onboarding experience and own new user experiences across iAuditor. This is a key role in driving SafetyCulture’s next wave of growth, with the potential to impact the experience of millions of customers in the coming years.


You will be working with a cross-functional product team that is each responsible for delighting and retaining users who use iAuditor for the first time. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on design. You must have strong visual and interaction design skills, along with the ability to help shape product vision and strategy.

As a Product Designer at SafetyCulture, you’ll have the opportunity to work on complex problems that impact millions of users worldwide, and operate at a scale few other Australian tech companies have reached. You will collaborate with a small group of driven, curious and customer-minded Product Designers, Product Managers and Cross functional Engineers and have a lot of fun doing it.


What You’ll Do


  • Build a deep understanding of our customers, why they come to iAuditor and their journeys from pre sign-up to becoming active users and expanding their teams
  • Work closely and collaboratively with an Agile, cross-functional software development team including engineering, product management, data analytics, and marketing
  • Translate customer problems, business requirements, product usage data and research insights into incredible product experiences, working closely with Product Management
  • Constantly capture and share feedback from our customers and the business and use learnings to rapidly iterate 
  • Drive great design across our products, platforms and teams. You will champion new users’ experiences and influence other product teams to craft incredible onboarding journeys

Who You Are


  • You have 3+ years of product design experience ideally working in B2C consumer focused, mobile first products s.
  • Confident defining user personas and journeys across multiple platforms, products (feature areas), channels and customer types
  • Comfortable managing and coordinating across a broad range of stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Data, Lifecycle Marketing, Acquisition, Other Product Teams
  • Results driven and focused on outcomes over deliverables; you know when to ‘test & learn’ vs when to create the best experience and invest in ‘delighters’
  • Experienced with qualitative and quantitative analysis, product experimentation, and can tell meaningful stories from large sets of data
  • You proactively share concepts, prototypes, designs and lessons with the broader business and are always diligent in documentation
  • Interested in user psychology and understand how user psychology and biases input into great design.
  • Interested in best practice onboarding and constantly curious to explore and learn from other companies and products


It’s a bonus if you are:


  • Experienced in designing B2C products within medium to large technology businesses, and are keen to apply these techniques in a B2B SaaS product
  • Experienced with Onboarding product experiences and have previously been successful at driving meaningful improvements in customer acquisition and activation 
  • Comfortable with data tools including Amplitude, Looker, and Fullstory
