JOB DESCRIPTION
We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager to lead our friendly team at the Ascot Veterinary Surgery. We are an established small animal practice located in leafy Ascot on Brisbane’s inner north-side. Our clinic is growing and 2021 is going to be a big year for us with expansions scheduled to start in March.
This position is a 12-month maternity leave contract as our current manager will be leaving in mid-May. We are looking for someone who is available to start prior to this so we can make the transition as smooth as possible.
Our team of 4 vets and 4 nurses are the loveliest bunch of fun and caring people who are passionate about what they do. We have a great clinic culture and would love to welcome the right person to enhance our team and be our go-to leader.
This role is suited to a confident all-rounder with a positive and can-do attitude, who is also a great communicator. You will have a high level of flexibility to make this role your own and be given the freedom to improve operating efficiencies and deliver a high level of customer service. You will have a broad set of responsibilities for effectively managing the day to day operations of the practice. Those responsibilities include:
This role is Tuesday-Friday 8am-6pm, with no weekend work and no public holidays.

- Recruitment and staff management
- General office management
- Rosters & payroll
- Account management
- Inventory/stock control
- Liaise with company representatives
- Drive marketing and promotions
