About you

Do you love to develop original content and create brand stories? As The Perth Mint’s Content Officer you will lead inhouse creative production including capturing, editing and producing marketing materials to develop highly engaging content for corporate initiatives. With experience implementing a content strategy you will have the drive, creativity and experience to increase The Perth Mint’s online presence and excite a large global audience.


  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a content specialist or similar role
  • Experience using photography, video and editing equipment
  • Proficient skills in Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Indesign and relevant editing and design software experience
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent skills for organisation, time management and attention to detail
  • Passion, drive and a can-do attitude

About the position

The position plays a pivotal role in the corporation’s vision to be a global leader in the precious metals industry and promote the range of Perth Mint products and services through outstanding content development and production.

The position is part-time (3 days a week) Candidates will need to be available Monday and Friday for two of the days.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Ownership of and delivery of The Perth Mint’s (TPM) content strategy and resulting execution program.
  • Create multichannel use content to meet strategic and tactical business objectives including, but not limited to editorial, photography, video, charts and graphics.
  • Oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing.
  • Leverage content produced by public relations, creative and marketing agencies where appropriate.
  • Lead content measurement and reporting offering proactive learnings, insights and ideas into the ongoing content planning process.
  • Support management by proof reading materials.
