The Role


The mission of Product Managers at Go1 is to develop world class experiences that drive engagement and customer retention, speed up sales cycles and to scale our capabilities in developing seamless integrations and deep end-user engagement through simple tools and integrations so that distributors can provide excellent content directly to their learners.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities


As a Product Manager at Go1 you help set the product vision, define what that future looks like, and build the products that get us there. Product Managers see products through their entire lifecycle—from concept through to validation, build, post-launch analytics and iterations. Working in teams of designers and software engineers along with marketing on a shared goal, to deliver exceptional experiences to all our users.



Responsibilities:


Leadership



  • Able to successfully gather needs from stakeholders and align everyone in the team around the chosen path, regardless of reporting lines.
  • Able to develop succinct communications to influence direction and strategy of the business, regarding core area of expertise reports on activities regularly
  • Able to identify areas of innovation within process and products and drive them to execution, demonstrating impact.

Strategy



  • Develops the long term aspirations of the product, the product vision and strategy within the 3-12 month horizon as well as the product roadmap
  • Describes what success looks like at each level of the product an Sets goals for product and teams for each sprint and for features and is able to determine measure and demonstrate what success looks like.
  • Can identify where there are challenges in the product with user journeys, technical problems, team problems and actively work to solve them.

Planning & Product Management



  • Develops testing frameworks for experimentation, utilising qualatative and quantitative research methodologies including AB testing.
  • Works with entire development team, so that they can contribute to solutions, attends daily standups and sprint planning/retro sessions
  • Works cross-functionally across the business to ensure go to market plans are suitable and the product marketing team have all required documentation and information.

Key Performance Indicators


  • Each team help to determine their quarterly OKRs which align to Go1's strategy and mission, related to increasing revenue, avoiding churn and creating growth.
  • These will include usage, conversion and throughput (e.g. onboarded partners per month) as well as product NPS scores.

Requirements:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in a product management role; for a digital product.
  • Have a consistent drive to keep everyone on track, ensuring everyone's doing their best and is motivated to achieve shared goals.
  • Have worked with engineers and have a demonstrable understanding of digital technology and in particular SaaS. You find it easy to communicate user requirements and understand the technical constraints which continuously you push to the edge of possible.
  • Data is your happy place and you're able to work comfortably with all kinds of information to make good decisions and demonstrate your process. From web analytics, user research, survey feedback, or in-person user testing. And you're able to use data to prioritise when presented with competing initiatives and a can identify and organize clear, concise actions.
  • Problems are challenges waiting to be solved and you are able to break things into small and achievable parts, demonstrating progress at all points.
  • Are genuinely driven by the need to create simple products that people love using, and that by creating deep engagement you know you can shorten sales cycles and lengthen lifetime value.
  • A love of or growing interest in generating growth loops and how they can be identified, tracked and optimised.
  • Are flexible, adaptable and eager to learn new things every day.
