Prime Recruitment's Industrial/Trades and Services Division specialises in providing labour solutions to the Resources, Fabrication/Engineering Industry throughout Western Australia.

Our clients based in the Welshpool and Kewdale area have immediate requirements for several qualified and experienced Workshop Boilermakers & First-Class Welders.

To be successful for these positions, you will need to possess the following:

• Trade qualification as Boilermaker or First- Class Welder
• Have good, solid experience in the fabrication or welding on Structural Steel as well as solid experience with Light/Medium plate work (Carbon & Mild Steel)
• Ability to weld using FCAW or Mig, all nice neat 6, 8 & 10mm Fillet welds
• First Class Welders must be able to pass a visual 3G positional Weld test on carbon steel, 3 run vertical up (Welshpool positions).
• First Class Welders to pass a 4G positional weld test to UT standards on 16mm carbon plate (Kewdale positions).
• Competent in reading and understanding of fabrication drawings for Boilermakers
• Must have your own tools of the trade in Boilermaking and First-Class Welding with your full PPE
• Hours of work are 10 hours per day (Monday to Friday) and 6 hours on a Saturday morning
• Must be flexible to work day or night shift

Benefits of the positions, namely:

• 50 - 55 hours per week plus Saturday's on offer
• $41.00-$46.00 Flat Rate for days - $44.00- $47.00 Flat Rate for nights
• Long Terms Assignments (up to 12 months of work on offer)
• Day and Night shifts available
• Weekly Pays
