About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Marketing, Brand and Sponsorships team to provide support in driving the company’s high-profile sponsorship portfolio and strategic marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Manager Marketing, Brand and Sponsorships, the role will require you to work within a fast-paced environment, managing competing deadlines with a motivated, professional and organised approach.

Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System (SMS). Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing hands on support for the planning, communication and implementation of company events, from writing high-quality detailed briefs to nametags and front-of-house duties
  • Working with internal stakeholders to proactively manage the company’s corporate hospitality commitments and sponsorship benefits, relating to high-profile partnerships
  • Working closely with relevant agencies for graphic design, video production and creation of marketing assets for large scale events and sponsorships
  • Managing company photo and video libraries, foyer presentations for metro offices, merchandise
  • requests and company marquees 
  • Managing website maintenance and execution of approved content changes
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager with budgets, event calendars and internal reporting
  • Supporting the internal communications with the development of company newsletters and intranet stories

About you

The successful candidate will bring demonstrated years of experience in marketing and events within a national or multi-national business coupled with experience in large-scale end-to-end event management.

To be successful in this role you will be highly professional, proficient in writing professional and highly detailed briefs, display solid project management skills with a strong desire and ability to achieve exceptional results. While not essential, the ideal candidate will also have experience using WordPress, Photoshop and InDesign tools as part of their role.
