Job Description Summary
Exciting new opportunity to join our Utilities division as a Field Supervisor, supporting our PV & Battery Storage team

About the Role

Service Stream’s Utilities division are seeking energetic and experienced Field Supervisor’s to work on our PV & Battery Storage team .

Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction and supervision of subcontractors, and internal work crews to ensure all field work activity is conducted at each site in a safe and effective manner. This role is offered on a Permanent, Full Time basis, reporting into our Regency Park office, this position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, direct, plan and coordinate the activities of field staff
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with new, current internal and external customers
M anage teams to ensure production, contract, cash flow and revenue targets are being met or exceeded
Manage staff and sub-contractors to ensure that customer and contract KPIs, milestones and targets are being met or exceeded
Maintain reporting systems to ensure timeliness, accuracy of all management information systems
Review company procedures and systems for compliance to statutory, customer, utility and local Government requirements
Undertake all necessary scheduling of work, staff and equipment to ensure that daily, weekly and monthly production targets are achieved
Participate in and or lead bid teams and tenders as necessary.

Qualifications

Electrical work licence
CEC Design & Install PV Grid System accreditation (Stand Alone desirable)
Working at Heights accreditation

Skills and Experience

Minimum of 5 years industry (Solar PV) experience is highly desired
Strong aptitude for effective leadership with a commitment to positively influence others
Good capacity to drive projects end to end and the ability to manage opportunities and obstacles
Excellent technical knowledge of the relevant aspects of the work and work practices required by the industry
Well-developed communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets
Suitable negotiations skills with the ability to resolve field queries and issues
