Australian owned & operated freight forwarder requires experienced sea freight import coordinator

Your new company
Your new company is an Australian owned and operated freight forwarder with 30 years of experience in the Australian market. This family orientated business looks after sea and air freight imports and exports as well as customs, warehousing and distribution.

Your new role
In your new role as the import coordinator you will be responsible for:

• End to end sea freight imports both FCL & LCL
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and shipping lines
• Assisting with customs & quarantine documentation
• Coordinating with transport companies

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 3 + years of experience as a freight forwarder ideally sea freight imports
• In depth knowledge of end to end shipping processes
• Cargowise experience will be highly desirable
• Those with export experience will also be highly desirable
