Is educating workforces and the community about sexual and reproductive health your passion? We are calling for Expressions of Interest for skilled and enthusiastic people who are interested in working on an ad hoc or periodic sessional basis, being part of delivering a calendar of education to community workforces.
About SHINE SA
SHINE SA is a key sexual and reproductive health agency in South Australia, providing clinical and counselling services as well as education services. SHINE SA conducts workforce development education for doctors, nurses/midwives, community workers and teachers, delivering online and face to face training.
Expressions of Interest
We are calling for Expressions of Interest for skilled and enthusiastic people who are interested in working on an ad hoc or periodic sessional basis, being part of delivering a calendar of education to community workforces i.e. youth workers, disability workers, Aboriginal focused workers, child protection workers, CALD focused workers. Occasional community-based education will also be involved where appropriate.

Selection criteria for this role includes:
- previous experience working in or delivering education to one of the sectors listed above (i.e youth workers, community workers, Aboriginal workers or communities etc.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- values and attitudes towards sexual and reproductive health which are consistent with SHINE SA’s strategic directions and values
- demonstrated group facilitation and training delivery skills
Your job will be to develop and deliver training programs in a manner that maximises impact for one or more of our populations of interest, these being:
- people 30 years and under
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- people who are gender and/or sexually diverse
- people with disabilities including mental health
- people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- men who have sex with men
- sex workers
- people living with HIV
- people living in regional, rural, and remote SA.
