Rostering and Admin Officer

SA Hope Foundation is a registered NDIS service provider to provide a range of flexible and tailored services to bring people with disability a hope by building their capacity, living a life based on their strengths, rights and choices. We have Support Workers providing expert care across all metropolitan Adelaide.
SA Hope is seeking to employ a Rostering and admin officer to be part of our enthusiastic and professional team.
You will work in a collaborative and consultative manner to ensure our services not only meet but exceed our client's expectations.
Responsibilities
- Allocate Support Staff to referred services by matching their skills, qualifications and experiences to client needs.
- Meet administrative requirements for rostering, records and information management for new staff recruited by HR in an electronic environment, including maintenance of clear accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with SA Hope's policies and procedures.
. Assisting HR in reference checks for new staff.
- Liaise with Support Workers to train and assist with Mobile App, changing shifts, cancellation procedures.
- As the first contact the client has with SA hope its imperative that the Rostering Officer establish and cultivate effective professional relationships with external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of contemporary issues relating to the disability sector, including knowledge of developments, issues and legislation in NDIS
- On-call duties (rotating roster)
- To liaise and work with accounts staff to ensure accurate invoicing and payroll
- Ability to supervise, delegate and give clear direction to employees, and create an environment of excellent customer service and high performance.
Qualities
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and service-minded person who can demonstrate a sound work ethic and attention to detail.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication proficiency, strong interpersonal skills and a continuous improvement approach.
It is essential that you are computer literate and have well developed organisational and administrative competencies.
Are able to work as part of a team and autonomously in a high paced, constantly evolving environment.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.
Minimum Requirements
Flexible working hours between 7 am - 7 pm Monday to Friday with on-call duties (rotating roster)
Available to work 5 days per week
Previous administration and customer service experience
Previous experience in the aged care or disability sector (preferable) and/or relevant qualifications in human or health services.
Rostering experience preferred
Willingness to perform on-call duties and undertake appropriate vocational and personal development programs to maintain knowledge and skills.
DCSI screening (Aged and Disability and/or working with children).
National Police Check
Available for Immediate Start

Salary: $58,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
