Assist the Director in the management and provision of high quality clinical coding services by overseeing the Redcliffe Hospital coding management, coding quality and coder-clinician liaison functions of Health Information Services.

About the Role
Provide expert advice to the Director in matters relating to clinical classification that impact on Activity Based Funding and other priority areas for the management and provision of Health Information Services within Redcliffe Hospital.
Contribute significantly to the overall strategic and operational planning and development of the Health Information Service clinical coding function and assist in the execution of departmental strategies and plans to enhance the Redcliffe Hospital Health Information Services.
Participate in the development and review of tools and procedures to improve documentation for coding.
Develop, implement and maintain innovative continuous quality improvement strategies in the area of clinical classification training and development within and external to the hospital, including establishment of benchmarking key performance indicators with peer hospital networks.
