JOB DESCRIPTION
Golding is currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitter to work as part of the project maintenance team at our Whyalla South Middleback Ranges Mine site.

Golding is currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitter to work as part of the project maintenance team at our Whyalla South Middleback Ranges Mine site. This is a residential role based at Whyalla, South Australia
Key Role Tasks:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor the role is responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance across all heavy earth moving equipment on site.
Trouble shooting and diagnosis of equipment faults;
Disassembly and assembly of machinery and components;
Routine servicing of all equipment both site workshop and field based;
Complete all maintenance administration requirements in a timely and legible manner;
Operate equipment in a safe and respectful manner;
Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings; and
Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment and JHAs (Job Hazard Analysis) and SWP’s (Safe Work Procedures) where necessary for specific work areas.
Role Requirements
Hold a Cert 3 in Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanical Certificate;
Extensive maintenance experience with ultra-class electric drive haul trucks, 600T excavators or other ancillary machinery;
Capacity to work in a team environment with minimal supervision;
Excellent attitude towards safety and commitment to zero-harm;
Self-motivated and strong work ethic; and
Current drivers’ license and HR Licence
