About us: We are an NDIS registered service provider specialising in delivering quality, individualised and flexible support services to people living with a disability. We also provide a broad range of services to clients outside the NDIS. We believe in providing the highest level of client-focused care and know by valuing our Support Workers we can achieve that together. About the role: As a Disability Support Worker, you will be required to assist people to independently live in their homes or group homes. Task will include, but are not limited to: Personal Care - showering, transfers, grooming, etc. Medication administration Skill Development - cooking, shopping, etc Transport - to and from appointments or shopping Social & Community participation - encourage clients to engage with the community We are seeking availability for morning/afternoon/night shifts, including passive and active overnights, the length of shifts vary from 4 to 12 hours and a min 20 - 38 hours per week will be offered to the successful candidates. Essential Criteria: Certificate III and/or IV in Disability, including experience working in this field National Criminal History Record Check NDIS Workers Check or willing to obtain Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle Access to a smart phone (Apple or Android) Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate in Administer and Monitor Medications in the workplace, preferred but not essential.
