About The Opportunity
 

The Level 3 Specialist Dietitian is responsible for providing high quality nutrition care to patients with inflammatory bowel disease. This position works closely with the multidisciplinary team. The roles of the dietitian include providing individual consult, student supervision, staff education/training and leading/involving in quality improvement and research activities. This senior position suits dietitian who is self-directed, able to work independently with multiple competing demands and has extensive clinical experiences, esp. working with patients with inflammatory bowels disease.

What you'll be doing This position is responsible for providing patient centred and high quality nutrition services to clients in Liverpool Hospital, including providing nutritional care to patients as per caseload; provide and participate in education and evaluation; supervise students and Level 1-2 dietitian as appropriate; and participate in ongoing professional development.

How to Apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Post graduate qualification or Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics as recognized by the Dietitians Association of Australia.
  2. Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of complex case load.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group education skills and excellent computer skills including CBORD
  4. Experience and knowledge in service development and quality improvement
  5. Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and evidence based practice
  6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of the team
  7. Demonstrated ability in clinical supervision of students and/or staff
