About the role:
The Hunter Centre for Gynaecological Cancer is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to provide high quality, patient-consumer-focused, evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment to improve outcomes of patients/consumers and their families/carers, with the provision of supervision, consultation and clinical leadership. This role is based in the Gynaecology Oncology Unit of Maternity and Gynaecology. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to conduct research and surveys and will be supported in this role by the Director of Gynaecology Oncology and Staff Specialist.

The Gynaecology Oncology Unit consists of the Director of Gynaecology Oncology, Staff Specialists, a Clinical Nurse Consultant, a Data Manager and Administrative staff.

About you:
You are a driven Clinical Psychologist with a patient/consumer focus and professional delivery of patient care. You have extensive experience in assessment, intervention and evaluation of clinical outcomes with diverse patient and/or consumer populations. 

An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part time vacancies.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia. 

If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
