About the Company:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:
We require a Support Worker to partner with a Participant based in Magill, SA. Our participant is a young female who has Cerebral Palsy and other complex needs. Successful candidates will have experience in seizure/epilepsy management, administrating medication, gastrostomy feeding and previous experience supporting Participants with complex needs.

This role is for an immediate start and is casual on-going. You must be flexible working split shifts in the morning and afternoon. Shift times range from 7am to 10am and 2pm to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday and Sunday. The rate of pay is $30.50 per hour Monday to Friday and Sunday is $54.90 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
Personal care - showering, dressing, grooming
Transport - pick up and drop off at school and any other appoitments

Skills & Experiences:
Must have experience with gastrostomy feeding
Must have experince supporting participants with Epilepsy
Must have experience with seizure management
Current First Aid & CPR
National Police Clearance
Full Australian working rights
DCSI Checks
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Infection Control Training - Covid19
Willingness to provide full support to the clients where needed
Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
Must have a driver's licence and reliable transport
