As a Recovery and Support Administrator, you will be a responsible for ensuring that every worker with complex injuries are supported towards the best prospects of health and functional recovery through the timely delivery of entitlements to compensation and other administrative requirements using a team-based approach with Recovery & Support Coordinators and Advisors.

Key Accountabilities

You will assist in ensuring entitlements to compensation are made in appropriate and timely manner. More specifically the Recovery Support Administrator will:

  • Provide support in the completion of relevant documents to ensure timely access to required services and entitlements to support an injured worker’s return to work and injury recovery
  • Proactively identify the need for additional information to process entitlements and seek the appropriate source to obtain needed information
  • Work closely with Recovery & Support Coordinators and Advisors to ensure required appointments and bookings are in place, ensuring effective engagement with injured workers and health providers
  • Ability to provide team with the current status of claims on matters including payments, approvals and schedules

About you

You have previous experience specifically managing workers compensation claims preferably in Victoria. More specifically you have:

  • Background in claims processing, auditing, accounting, contracts or information technology
  • Understanding of the Victorian workers compensation scheme, legislation and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-player attitude
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience
