Client Details

We are seeking candidates for a Japanese Speaking Translators and Interpreters for our client in IT industry. You will be responsible for translating and interpreting reports between Japanese and English. This position is based in Australia and you will be working with international teams. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and be able to communicate with various stakeholders.

Description

We are seeking for both entry-level and experienced translator/interpreter from English to Japanese AND Japanese to English.

The key responsibilities and duties:

  • Translate marketing & IR documents, press releases, announcements, sales presentations, meeting minutes, emails and etc.
  • Interpret on business meetings, media coverage and video voice-over.
  • Gather information and conduct research
  • Work closely with various internal stakeholders in Japan, US and other countries.

Profile

In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:

  • Native in English and fluent in Japanese in writing, reading, and speaking.
  • IT industry experience preferred but must have interest in IT
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time and task management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

For experienced Japanese Translator/ Interpreter:

  • At least 5 years' experience in translation / interpretation
  • NAATI qualification will be highly regarded but not a must

For Junior Japanese Translator / Interpreter:

  • Recent graduates with Japanese language skills who have interest in translations/ interpretations are welcome to apply!!
