About the role

McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust.) Pty Ltd are seeking an Office Manager to join the team on one of our new Alliance projects in Adelaide.

The position provides general support to the Alliance General Manager, the Alliance program partners, and coordination of the organisation of the Site Office.

As the Office Manager, you will be accountable for:
Assisting the Alliance General Manager as required with overall administration issues regarding the day to day operations of the project, including minute taking and coordination between the Alliance group;
Greeting site visitors and ensuring they sign in onsite, coordinating with HSE team if they need to be inducted on-site;
Ongoing development and refinement of company policies and procedures relating to office management, process improvement and general correspondence;
Preparation for meetings, including catering and presentation aids as required;
Assisting the Training Coordinator with the collection of tickets, certificates and documents for the training matrix and folders;
Ensure the efficient and timely recording of all financial commitments, maintaining the cost accounting system and controlling the general administration of the office.

Requirements for this role are:
Advanced skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Working knowledge of Visio and Workbench.
Ability to operate with minimal direction, prioritise work requirements and effectively manage time.
Capability to exercise initiative, problem solve and manage a multiplicity of issues simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Confidentiality assured for all documentation.
Have strong commitment to “Home Without Harm”.
Be a permanent resident of Australia.
