About the role

Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Clinical Services Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to a team of eight direct reports from multidisciplinary backgrounds. The team work across three different funding streams offers a diverse range of mental health interventions to young people.

The Clinical Services Manager is required to oversee the implementation and management of all aspects of clinical and community awareness services and activities at the centre, develop partnerships with key stakeholders, support continuous quality improvement activities, manage identified risks, and enhance operational effectiveness.

It is of paramount importance that the successful candidate for this role aims to offer quality, safe and accessible services to all young people.

About you

To carry out this role, the successful candidate will be required to have:

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other relevant human services field, including registration with the professional body where applicable.
Significant experience in delivering mental health assessments, crisis management, and evidence-based interventions to young people and their families / carers.
Demonstrated advanced level clinical decision-making skills in a mental health setting, including experience in managing young people at risk, including suicide and violence risks.
Demonstrated experience in leading a multidisciplinary service delivery team, including the provision of clinical supervision; the facilitation of clinical reviews; and performance management processes.
Experience in service development and implementing continuous quality improvement activities in line with contractual obligations.
Excellent organisational skills & a highly competent report writer
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including youth advisory group members, clinical governance members and contract managers
Current National Police Clearance
Current WWCC
Current driving licence and access to a comprehensively insured car
